Holidays at The Americana at Brand with Ashley Torres

Hey guys, Ashley from Everyday Pursuits here. Remember that time I went Christmas gift shopping and ended up finding the most amazing jacket for myself? Hah, I feel like that always happens whenever you’re shopping for other people!

Last week I stopped by The Americana at Brand for a morning of shopping and holiday fun! I grew up going to The Americana at Brand and although it’s across town from where I live now (Venice), I have no problem driving there because it’s really a one-stop spot for shopping, food, and fun. Sometimes I even spend the day working there before meeting up with friends in the evening or meeting my mom for a glass of wine at Ombra Wine Bar.

This time of year The Americana at Brand is decked out for the holidays: Santa, Mr. Snowman, the Nutcracker; it feels so festive and I love it! As we were shopping I even bumped into an old high school friend who now has two kids and brought them to take pictures with Santa!

Take it from me, stop and enjoy the beautiful fountains with some Sprinkles Cupcakes, Cookies and Ice Cream then end your shopping trip with a glass of wine and yummy food from Ombra Wine Bar. Especially with this sunny SoCal weather we’re having, it’s the perfect place to spend time outside.
