A necklace with my baby’s initial.

Do you have any special Mother’s Day traditions with your kids, or with your mom?
We usually go out someplace nice for lunch and maybe to the beach!

What would you love to receive this Mother’s Day?
I am always lusting after a designer bag, and there are so many good ones at Barneys right now. I also am in need of new plates and glasses, and would love some beautiful ones from Anthropologie.

What would an ideal mother-kiddo day at The Americana at Brand look like?
We always love just hanging out, shopping at Nordstrom and
Anthropologie, and eating at Katsuya. Maybe ending with a few macarons to go!

What’s the most special Mother’s Day gift you’ve received to date?
I really love it when my kids make me gifts and cards, but when they were babies, my husband got me the sweetest necklace with their faces on it. It was the best gift ever!

Do you have any special Mother’s Day traditions with your kids, or with your mom?
We just spend the day together. And they shower me with love, attention and let me do whatever I want that day!

What would you love to receive this Mother’s Day?
There’s a new Jennifer Meyer necklace I’ve been eyeing…

What would an ideal mother-kiddo day at The Americana at Brand look like?
My kids love going to The Americana at Brand. They love shopping and hitting up the Tesla store and sushi restaurant! My husband and I try to squeeze in a trip to Pressed Juicery and Nordstrom.

What’s the most special Mother’s Day gift you’ve received to date?
When my older daughter was one-and-a-half and my younger daughter was a just a few months old, I remember my big girl walking into my bedroom (wearing her footie pajamas), holding a balloon for me on Mother’s Day morning. I know that a balloon is not exactly a huge gift, but I remember how small she was and how special that day felt as a brand-new mom of two daughters.

Do you have any special Mother’s Day tradition with your kids, or with your mom?
I love a good lunch and shopping! This must have started with my mom and grandma. I remember them taking my sister and me to lunch and shopping pretty much every Saturday. It became our tradition. Sometimes we’d buy, sometimes we’d just walk around and look. I’ve been taking my daughters with me for ‘Ladies’ Lunches’ ever since they were babies, and then we’d stroll around shopping for a few hours. I still do it (even though nobody uses a stroller anymore) and I’m not sick of it yet.

What would you love to receive this Mother’s Day?
I want to find some new shoes! And a few cute pieces to wear, too. I can’t remember the last time I went shopping for myself, actually. I might even spring for a new ring too (I’ve had a longtime thing for right-hand rings… look out, David Yurman).

What would an ideal mother-kiddo day at The Americana at Brand look like?
Lunch at Trattoria Amici with my favorite pasta (Gemelli Regina—try it!) … followed by shopping at Nordstrom and a scoop of Belgian Chocolate ice cream from Häagen Dazs sitting on the lawn.

What’s the most special Mother’s Day gift you’ve received to date?
I received the most beautiful ring that my husband designed for me from my friend and jeweler Jenny Sung of Gjenmi jewelry. It had a moon monogrammed on the band and three diamonds as stars: one for me and one for each of my kids.

Do you have any special Mother’s Day traditions with your kids, or with your mom?
Mother’s Day is my busiest workday of the year, I usually spend it working and celebrate afterwards I going out of town usually to Ojai, my happy place.

What would you love to receive this Mother’s Day?
A necklace from my Mother’s Day collaboration with Gjenmi that we made four special-edition necklaces with moons and diamonds or opals as the stars. I am obsessed with them and I’m hoping to get one for myself as well. Plus, a new leather purse or diaper bag from Madewell, monogrammed.

What would an ideal mother-kiddo day at The Americana at Brand look like?
Usually we get breakfast at Eggslut, walk over to the movie theater to catch a morning matinée, and then spend the afternoon lounging around in the grass by the fountain. Of course, daddy takes the kids on the trolley so mommy can sneak away to Madewell and Free People for a few minutes by myself.
